If you’ve spent any amount of time in Napa - whether you’re a local, a regular, or a first-time visitor - there are a few places that are simply non-negotiable. Model Bakery is one of them. Day 11 of Napa Love goes straight to a hometown hero that somehow manages to be cozy, iconic, and crave-worthy all at once.

Let’s start with the star of the show: the Model Breakfast Sandwich Bun on the FAMOUS English Muffin. If you know, you know. Crisp edges, soft interior, perfectly griddled - this muffin has earned its reputation, and then some. Add a classic breakfast sandwich situation, and you’ve got the kind of morning that sets the tone for the entire day.

We didn’t stop there (obviously). The breakfast wrap came through hot and hearty, ideal for anyone who wants all the flavors wrapped up and ready to go. The clam chowder was rich and comforting - perfect for a relaxed Napa morning, no matter the weather. For lunch vibes, the sausage pizza with peppers delivered big, bold flavor, and we balanced it all out with a green salad to keep things “healthy-ish.” Napa math.

Instead of grab and go, we did it the right way: picnicking right outside the bakery, soaking up the sunshine, people-watching, and enjoying every bite. Before leaving, we grabbed a loaf of Model Bakery’s sourdough to take home - crusty, tangy, and absolutely irresistible. And with Fatted Calf right next door, adding some of their salami (and yes, chilled wine) was a must. Sourdough + salami + a bottle of wine = YUMMY, and also very on-brand for this town.


Because in Napa, Model Bakery isn’t just a stop - it’s a ritual. 💛
